  1. My husband and I were married in a private garden in Calgary. The lady who owned the home had decided this was the most fun way to pursue her retirement. She obtained a license as a marriage commissioner, decorated her home with a slightly Victorian flavor and maintained her backyard with beautiful blooming plants, bushes and small trees. It was small, pleasant and certainly something to cherish.

Congratulations. He sounds wonderful from your posts.

How perfectly wonderful! A Secret Garden wedding! Thank you so much for sharing this; it was very generous of you. That sounds a most fun way to pursue one’s retirement indeed! Lovely 🙂

Thank you for your congratulations. We are good together.

  2. Our daughter got married two years ago in Florida. She was planning on getting married on the beach underneath a small gazebo, but it was difficult getting a permit for that particular beach. They got married at a hotel on the balcony facing the ocean and then went down to have pictures taken on the beach at sunset. Stunning photos! She had the ocean theme through her wedding. A themed wedding is fun to plan and fun to attend.
